Booking & appointments
No. Curitt is a private clinic, so you can book a check-up, blood panel or ultrasound yourself. There’s no verwijzing needed from your huisarts, and we’ll send them a full report afterwards if you’d like us to.
Most appointments are available within 48 hours. You can see live availability for every clinic while you book.
Yes. Changes and cancellations are free up to 24 hours before your appointment. Within 24 hours we charge 50% of the appointment fee.
A valid ID and, if you take any, a list of your current medication. For a fasting blood test, please don’t eat for eight hours beforehand.
A full check-up takes 45 to 60 minutes. A blood draw takes around 15 minutes and an ultrasound about 30.
Pricing & payment
Single appointments start at €99. You’ll see the full price of each check-up, test or programme before you book.
Curitt is private care and isn’t reimbursed under the Dutch basisverzekering. Some supplementary policies cover part of preventative screening — we provide an itemised invoice you can submit to your insurer.
All major debit and credit cards, and Apple Pay.
Often, yes. Many Dutch employers reimburse preventative screening through a vitality or WKR budget. Ask your HR team.
A missed appointment, or a cancellation within 24 hours, is charged at 50% of the appointment fee.
Tests & results
Comprehensive results appear in your Curitt account within 24–48 hours, reviewed and annotated by your doctor.
Every result is checked by a BIG-registered doctor before it’s released. You’ll never receive a raw lab value without clinical context.
Your doctor calls you the same day to talk it through and, where needed, refers you on to a specialist or back to your huisarts with a full report.
We work exclusively with ISO 15189-accredited laboratories in the Netherlands. Sample handling follows the NEN 7510 standard.
Yes. Download a PDF summary from your account, or ask us to send it directly to your huisarts.
Privacy & data
On servers inside the EU, processed in line with the GDPR (AVG) and the Dutch WGBO. There’s more detail on our GDPR & Patient Privacy page.
Only you and the Curitt doctors involved in your care. We never share results with employers, insurers or third parties without your explicit written consent.
Yes. Every Curitt doctor holds a valid BIG registration, and you can verify each number yourself on our BIG-Register Verification page.
You can request deletion at any time. The WGBO requires us to keep medical records for 20 years, so some records are archived rather than erased.
